For the puree

  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries Use fresh or thawed frozen strawberries.
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice For added brightness.
  • 2 tbsp Sugar (optional) Adjust according to sweetness preference.

Preparation

  • Wash the strawberries thoroughly and remove the green tops.
  • Place strawberries in a blender or food processor.
  • Add lemon juice and blend until smooth.
  • Taste the puree; if it's not sweet enough, add sugar gradually, blending again after each addition.
  • Optionally strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother texture.
  • Transfer the puree to an airtight container for storage.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze in ice cube trays for longer storage.
