Ingredients
  

  • 1 scoop protein powder chocolate or vanilla
  • 2 tbsp almond flour or oat flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder optional for chocolate flavor
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sweetener of choice stevia, honey, erythritol
  • 1/4 cup milk or non-dairy alternative
  • 1 egg or egg white
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional
  • 1 tsp nut butter optional for extra creaminess

Instructions
 

  • In a microwave-safe mug, mix protein powder, flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and sweetener.
  • Add milk, egg, vanilla extract, and nut butter (if using). Stir until smooth.
  • Microwave on high for 60-90 seconds. If needed, cook in 10-second bursts until done.
  • Let it cool for 1-2 minutes before eating.
  • Top with Greek yogurt, nut butter, or berries if desired.

Notes

  • For a softer texture, use casein protein powder or mix whey and casein.
  • Adjust microwave time based on power level.
  • Swap egg for mashed banana or applesauce for an egg-free version.
  • For a gluten-free mug cake, use almond or coconut flour.
