  • 1 slice Whole Grain Bread Any favorite whole grain bread
  • 1 oz Pistachios Crushed for topping
  • 1 tsp Honey Optional, for drizzling

Preparation

  • Toast the slice of whole grain bread until golden brown.
  • Spread peanut butter evenly over the toasted bread.
  • Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top of the peanut butter.
  • Drizzle honey over the pistachios if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, mix a pinch of sea salt into the peanut butter before spreading. This toast also pairs well with sliced bananas or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
