  • 1 cup Vegetable oil Can substitute with other neutral oils

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Measure 8 cups of flour and place it in a large mixing bowl or plastic tray.
  • Gradually add 1 cup of vegetable oil to the flour, mixing with your hands or a spoon until fully combined.
  • If desired, mix in a few drops of food coloring until you reach your desired shade.
  • Continue mixing until the mixture reaches a sand-like texture, holding its shape when squeezed but crumbling when released.

Playing

  • Let the children dive in and start molding their creations.

Notes

Store homemade moon sand in an airtight container at room temperature. If it feels dry, mix in a small amount of vegetable oil to freshen it up. Avoid using other ingredients or skipping measurements.
