- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup dairy-free chocolate chips optional
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in melted coconut oil, honey, and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Pour batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
