Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch Used as the base for the paint.
  • 1/2 cup baking soda Provides the fizzing reaction.
  • 6-8 drops food coloring (assorted colors) Choose your favorite colors.
  • 1/2 cup water Adjust as needed for paint consistency.
  • 1/2 cup vinegar Keeps in a spray bottle for fizzing effect.

Tools

  • 1 muffin tin or 4–6 small bowls For mixing paint colors.
  • 2-4 paintbrushes (various sizes) For applying the paint.
  • optional sponges or old toothbrushes For adding texture.
  • optional teaspoons glitter For sparkling effects.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In each compartment of your muffin tin or small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of baking soda.
  • Add 6–8 drops of food coloring into each bowl. Mix and match to create fun custom shades.
  • Slowly stir in water until you achieve your desired paint texture.

Usage

  • Take your colorful paints outside and use paintbrushes, sponges, or old toothbrushes to decorate sidewalks or thick paper.
  • Fill a spray bottle with vinegar and spritz your painted designs to watch the fizzing magic happen!

Notes

Store leftover paint in the fridge (covered) for up to 2 days. Make sure to stir well before reusing. Protect clothing to avoid potential stains.
