Prepare the Chicken 🐔
If using a fresh chicken breast, slice it in half horizontally for quicker cooking.
Season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
If using shredded rotisserie chicken, reheat it lightly in the pan with 1 tsp of olive oil.
Toast the Bread 🥖
Heat a pan over medium heat.
Spread butter on the inside of the rolls and toast them for 1-2 minutes, until slightly golden and crispy.
Assemble the Sandwich 🥪
Spread mayonnaise and honey mustard on the toasted bread.
Layer lettuce, tomato slices, and mashed avocado (if using).
Place the hot chicken on top and immediately add Havarti cheese slices so they start melting.
Cover with the other half of the roll.
Serve and Enjoy! 🤩
Slice in half and serve warm.
