1️⃣ Bake the Cupcakes
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake tray with Bluey-themed cupcake liners or regular liners.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, until the batter is smooth.
Divide the batter evenly into the cupcake liners, filling each about ⅔ full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely before decorating.
2️⃣ Prepare the Buttercream Frosting
In a mixing bowl, beat butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well.
Add vanilla extract and heavy cream. Beat until fluffy.
Divide the frosting into two bowls:
One bowl: Light blue (for Bluey's main fur color)
One bowl: Dark blue (for Bluey’s face markings)
Transfer each color into separate piping bags with round piping tips.
3️⃣ Decorate the Cupcakes
Pipe a swirl of light blue frosting onto each cupcake.
Use the dark blue frosting to add small accents for Bluey’s markings.
Roll white fondant into small circles for the eyes. Place them on top.
Add black fondant pupils and a small black fondant nose.
Optional: Dust with edible shimmer for a fun effect!
4️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!
Arrange the cupcakes on a tiered cupcake stand for a stunning Bluey-themed party display.
Serve and watch kids' faces light up with excitement! 🎉
